A Trip Advisor review left July 2016 reads: 'I had a week away with my 2 sons and we all had a fantastic time at Barend. The lodge was immaculate , very well furnished and was a regular home from home...'
A Trip Advisor review left December 2016 reads: 'This was our first visit to Barend Holiday Village. We arrived on a very cold November evening after a long drive and it was so welcoming to find the Lodge we were staying in to be lovely and warm, well equipped and comfortable. The staff on the site are very obliging and we found the pub cosy and the food good value for the money.'
