A Trip Advisor review left July 2015 reads: 'We spent a week at Barend last week in chalet 41 & had a great time. I was slightly worried that the chalet would be too small for us (4 adults & 3 kids) but was pleasantly surprised. Even though our bedroom was directly next to the kids, we weren't woken up by them so the sound-proofing was better than anticipated! The kitchen is tiny but well equipped and manageable for a holiday. We had a lovely view over the loch...'
A Trip Advisor review left October 2016 reads: 'Had a fantastic time at Barend - the accommodation (we stayed in chalet 41) was lovely - warm and welcoming and well appointed. Great weather so were able to make the most of the dark skies and see an amazing night time spectacle! Also lucky enough to see the badgers making the most of the peanuts we put under our balcony! All in all a fabulous relaxing time was had by all and we will certainly be back!'
A Trip Advisor review left December 2016 reads: 'I really cannot fault the accommodation or the holiday village. The lodge was really clean and staff were so friendly. We will definetely be returning. A really wonderful stay. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the view from the lodge was amazing.'
