A Trip Advisor review left May 2016 reads: 'This was a gem of a place. The booking procedure was easy. The Reception Staff were excellent and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The lodge we had was arranged in such a way that you had the sea view from the lounge which was moved upstairs. There was balcony upstairs and downstairs. Three bathrooms two of which enquire. The lodge we had was graded 4 stars. 70+ Lodges on site but it doesn't feel crowded. Some have sea view some have forest views and some views of the loch. I would recommend the sea views where you can see across to Lake District...The quiet and silence here is beautiful. The roads are so quiet. Our lodge was really well equipped.'
A Trip Advisor review left May 2016 reads: 'The lodge was highly recommended by the staff when I enquired about vacancies and if anything they did not do it full justice. We were really impressed by the quality of the fittings and the lodge really did have every item that could be required.'
A Trip Advisor review left October 2016 reads: 'We had a wonderful family break where everything exceeded our expectations. Our chalet was beautiful and so well equipped. I cannot fault a thing. The site is very dog friendly too and plenty places to walk. So close to the beach at Sandyhills. On site restuarant and bar great too!! Can't wait to return.
A Trip Advisor review left December 2016 reads: 'We stayed at cabin 55, which was furnished to a very high standard and was spotless. The site is so calm and peaceful, surrounded by trees and wildlife. The beach is only a short walk away, and is simply stunning with no litter and in a beautiful setting. The site is also dog friendly which is great, and the site is very environmentally conscious which is lovely to see. We only stayed for a long weekend but we will certainly be back in 2017! Thanks for a perfect stay.'
